August Pick 3 Pinterest Party
I'm linking up with Pawsitively
Teaching and the Inspired Owl for this month’s Pinterest Pick
3 to give us some new ideas for back to school. Enjoy!
This will be a great idea to keep next to my computer not just for
the kid’s passwords but for mine as well!
There are always so many passwords to keep track of and the colors will be helpful
to find them easily.
The Toothpaste Squirt Lesson is a great back to school lesson on teaching children about
choosing their words carefully and thinking about the impact it has on others.
It reminds me very much of the wrinkled heart activity we did in our class. If
you’d like to download the wrinkled heart poster- it’s free and will explain
how it’s done.
Join in the fun and have a great start to school.

Chalkboard Back To School SIgns
We’ve all seen
those photographs of adorable children on the first day of school standing in
their neatly pressed outfit holding the chalkboard sign with the words, First
Day of School. I’ve always wanted to do it for my students on the first and last
day of school and as luck would have it, could never find those cute little
chalkboards- (probably since everyone else bought them out!)
So, I created
these for you to enjoy as an early ‘Back to School’ treat- they're FREE!
Whether you’re a parent or teacher, it’s a wonderful keepsake.
YOU CHOOSE: There is a color and black
and white version at my
store. you can grab them here. There are
signs for Preschool-Sixth Grade.
If you’re anything like me, slightly
obsessed with the chalkboard décor look, you might want to check out Editable Chalkboard Décor
for your classroom. It has everything
you need to set up a classroom with editable labels, word walls, signs, calendar
items, and much more! Enjoy!

Father's Day Activities
Father’s Day is around the corner and every year, I wait till it’s
closer to the date and always end up feeling rushed. This year, I got an early start on our Father’s Day activities!
If
you’re interested in making these, you can grab them here. There are 5 No Prep Activities (although the trophy does need a toilet paper roll!) to choose from and it allows the kids to write as little or as much as they want depending on
their level. There are also activities for uncles and grandpas for students who are making it for other male role models in their lives. Here are some of the
activities we did:
We made trophies for our dads:
We created different acrostic poems:
Then, we created our dads:
We wrote books about our dads and grandpas too!
I loved their responses:
Tomorrow we are off to make the coupon book!
Enjoy your Father's Day!
