 I love this chair! There are also lots of other author’s chairs to find some inspiration. I’m headed to home depot now to pick out my paint… 

This will be a great idea to keep next to my computer not just for the kid’s passwords but for mine as well!  There are always so many passwords to keep track of and the colors will be helpful to find them easily.

The Toothpaste Squirt Lesson is a great back to school lesson on teaching children about choosing their words carefully and thinking about the impact it has on others. 

It reminds me very much of the wrinkled heart activity we did in our class. If you’d like to download the wrinkled heart poster- it’s free and will explain how it’s done.

In the beginning of the year, I love to create a memory book that starts in September and lasts through June.  When complete, children can go back and look at their work.  They will  see improvements in their handwriting, drawings, and more as the year progressed.  It also serves as a reminder as to what activities they enjoyed  each month.   Bind/staple it into a memory book that will be something that parents and children will cherish forever.  Great for all levels as there is paper with additional lines for older students.

I also have a thing about writing paper.  I love to have students publish their work on fancy paper- students seem to work extra hard making their best work shine!
