Father's Day Rocks! Celebrating Dads with Painted Stones!

Every day loves a good pun and today, we're diving into the world of rock painting, dad jokes and creativity!

This year our group of budding artists created a Father's Day surprise and all they needed was a paintbrush and a collection of smooth rocks. They transformed ordinary rocks into little masterpieces. Some of them painted the phrase "Dad Rocks!" on the stone, while others made their own creations.

The kids know a good dad joke can brighten any day and thought their fathers would appreciate the humor and love behind these quirky gifts.

Dads love making us laugh each and every day with their witty remarks so why not return the favor on Father's Day and give them a gift that shares their love for a good joke? Most importantly, let them know just how much he rocks your world!?

Grab this coloring sheet free here or use the smaller version to create a Father's Day card!  Enjoy!

Father's Day Activities

Father’s Day is around the corner and every year, I wait till it’s closer to the date and always end up feeling rushed.  This year, I got an early start on our Father’s Day activities!

If you’re interested in making these, you can grab them here.  There are 5 No Prep Activities (although the trophy does need a toilet paper roll!) to choose from and it allows the kids to write as little or as much as they want depending on their level.  There are also activities for uncles and grandpas for students who are making it for other male role models in their lives. Here are some of the activities we did:

We made trophies for our dads:

We created different acrostic poems:

Then, we created our dads:

We wrote books about our dads and grandpas too!
I loved their responses:

Tomorrow we are off to make the coupon book!

Enjoy your Father's Day!
