Fire Safety for Kids!

Fire Prevention Week is in October. This year, we were lucky to have a firefighter dad come in and teach us about fire safety.

The kids created these fire dogs using the directed drawing below.  I love how unique they are.

Then, we wrote about what we learned.

Here are some great books to read about Fire Safety.

  1. Such a wonderful resource for teaching preschoolers about fire safety! The community helpers theme makes it so relatable and fun for young kids. It's so important to introduce fire safety at an early age, and this unit does a great job of combining learning with play. Also, alongside these lessons, a fire risk assessment is crucial for ensuring that safety measures are in place at home and school. Thank you for sharing these great activities!
